“With the Church we affirm that justice is a constitutive element of the gospel message.”
As Sisters of Saint Joseph we recognize the sufferings of people throughout the world on both the local and the global level. Wherever we are, we use every opportunity to integrate the principles of Catholic Social Teaching into our ministries and daily life.
The Commission for Justice of the Sisters of Saint Joseph is a group of Sisters of Saint Joseph and Associates appointed by the General Council to be a resource on social justice issues. The Commission works to engage the total Congregation and Associate groups in issues that are relevant to our charism and mission. Through social analysis and other tools this group acts as a convener, catalyst and connector with the goal of integrating justice into all aspects of our life and impacting our world.
