About Us

The Sisters of Saint Joseph Earth Center, a sponsored work of the Sisters of Saint Joseph,  is located on the grounds of Chestnut Hill College, carrying on the work of the Cecilian Center for Earth, Art, and Spirit which was previously located in Mt. Airy. The SSJ Earth Center, directed by Sister Mary Elizabeth Clark SSJ, is committed to fulfilling their mission of: fostering the opportunities to reflect, practice and celebrate the truth that all is sacred. By integrating artistic expression with holistic spirituality, the Center hopes to model ways of living in harmony with all of creation.
