Mission Effectiveness

“We live and work so that all people may be united with  God and with one another.”  (Mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph)

The Mission of the Sisters of Saint Joseph is rooted in the prayer of Jesus, “May they be one.” (John 17:21)  Recognizing that we are all interrelated, interconnected and interdependent, we are challenged to make a difference in our world by choosing to live and act as one.

It is by virtue of our Baptism that each Christian is “called, consecrated, and sent forth” to contribute to this “oneness” through choosing to promote justice, to love all persons without distinction, to express compassion, to forgive and to care for our earth.

In an effort to deepen our commitment to “oneness,” the Mission Effectiveness Committee presents varied suggestions for keeping the mission alive.
