Founded in 1968, Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania offers health care to the retired and infirm Sisters of Saint Joseph and when possible to lay women and men, and to members of other religious communities. Saint Joseph Villa is dedicated to ministering to the physical and spiritual needs of its residents and is committed to a holistic approach to resident care, integrating the physical, spiritual, religious, psychological and social health of the human person. In recognition of 50 years as a healing presence, the Villa opened a year-long celebration Semptember 17, 2017 and concluded it with a Golden Anniversary Gala celebration June 24, 2018.
The Saint Joseph Villa Renewal and Revitalization Project, completed in spring 2018, transformed the Villa from a facility that looks and feels like an institution to a more home-like atmosphere, where the focus is on the residents’ needs and preferences.
